Service Description

Experience two of Medellín's most cherished traditions on a journey that celebrates the region's coffee heritage, floral artistry and the warmth of its rural communities. Our day begins at a traditional family coffee farm, where you'll discover the complete journey of Colombian coffee, from planting the first seed to brewing the perfect cup. Walk through the coffee plantations, learn how the cherries are carefully harvested by hand, and witness every stage of the transformation process, including washing, drying and roasting the beans. Guided by local coffee producers, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the dedication and craftsmanship that have made Colombian coffee renowned around the world. After a delicious homemade Colombian lunch prepared by our hosts, we'll continue to a traditional flower farm nestled in the mountains surrounding Medellín. Here, you'll discover the fascinating history behind the silletas, the magnificent floral displays that have become the symbol of Medellín's world famous Feria de las Flores. Local flower growers will demonstrate how these remarkable works of art are carefully designed and assembled by hand, preserving a tradition that has been passed down through generations of silletero families. More than a visit to two traditional farms, this private experience offers a genuine connection with the people, traditions and craftsmanship that have shaped the cultural identity of Medellín and the Antioquia region.
