Coffee Region Railways & Waterfall
Journey beyond the usual routes through hidden landscapes aboard traditional local transport.

Service Description
Discover one of the Coffee Region's most authentic adventures by experiencing three traditional means of transportation that local communities have used for generations. Our journey begins aboard a classic Willys Jeep, travelling through breathtaking mountain landscapes until we reach the historic Estación Pereira. From there, we'll continue on La Brujita, a handcrafted motorcycle-powered rail cart that glides along the old railway tracks, offering a unique glimpse into the region's rural heritage. To complete the adventure, we'll cross the Cauca River aboard the Garrucha, a traditional cable transport system that has connected local communities for decades. On the other side, a peaceful walk through the forest follows the river to a hidden crystal-clear waterfall, where you'll have time to swim, relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Before returning, we'll share a homemade lunch prepared by the local community, bringing a perfect end to a day filled with history, adventure and authentic Colombian traditions.
